Scientometrics in science, technology and innovation policies is an important tool for evaluating and analyzing the effects of these policies in various industrial sectors, including the petrochemical industry. This field examines the quality and quantity of scientific productions, the level of international cooperation and the influence of registered articles and inventions in the development of new technologies. The research is practical in terms of purpose and was carried out with a scientometric approach by drawing knowledge maps. Initially, the number of 37,987 researches related to the petrochemical industry with various topics were identified in the Google Scholar database during the years 2000 to 2024. These data were extracted through Publish or Perish software. After the extraction process, the data was entered into the VOSviewer software and the knowledge map was drawn by the software. The key words used in the research are: technology development and innovation, policy making, economy and market, environment and sustainability, basic technologies in the petrochemical industry, and other concepts in the petrochemical industry. The findings show that the knowledge network of science and technology policies in the petrochemical industry has 6 main clusters. The results of the analysis show that the words "globalization" and "economy" in the first cluster, "handbook" and "production" in the second cluster, "green chemistry" and "opportunity" in the third cluster, "biomes" and "fuel" in the fourth cluster. , "modeling" and "refinery" in the fifth cluster and "artificial intelligence" and "status" in the sixth cluster received the most points and weight, and the analysis of the relationships between the words of each cluster was presented. Also, the trend analysis shows that the number of researches in the field of science, technology and innovation policies in different dimensions in the petrochemical industry has been decreasing in recent years.
